On 13 March 2018, Dan Andersson, LEOcoin Foundation and Mihir Magudia, Digital Currency Foundation has been a driving force in UK helping to inspire a group of Members of Parliament and Lords, to create an All Party Parliamentary Group for Digital Currencies at the Houses of Parliament in London.
Dan and Mihir have signed papers to form this group of Members of Parliament, both from the House of Commons and House of Lords
On 13 March at the inaugural dinner, industry and the Houses of Parliament came together to discuss the issues around blockchain adoption around digital currencies, around the regulatory space. Mihir commented that "We are still in the first steps of the journey, the first steps of this blockchain revolution. For the vast majority of people, for the vast majority of Members of Parliament, the members of the House of Lords, legislators and governments, his is such a new area, this is so impenetrable that it is difficult for them to understand. So what we are doing [at this meeting] is a part of that journey of education that everyone has to go on". Dan commented that "As the CEO of LEO, as an executive within the LEOcoin Foundation, as a co-founder of the Digital Currency Foundation I am very proud of what we are doing here and truly the sky is the limit"
